Valentine's Day

I know my husband well enough to be sure that I was not going to receive flowers for valentine's. Which I really don't mind because they die, I would much rather get some sort of plant. When we went to Meijer Friday night to drop off his prescription I decided to pick up these pretty pink tulips for myself since I will be able to transplant them to my garden come spring.

I didn't think about trying them against a black background until after my little photo session, and now they are about dead, so to late.

  1. Lol, I have an excuse to buy flowers for myself, and now you discovered it also - photography experiments. Try to shoot flowers against daylight window with flash and high aperture.

  2. thanks for the advice! my problem this day was that it was overcast :0( so my only option was with the lights on in the living room along with as much natural light against our whitewall.. I need to buy some white and black poster board or sheets and make a still shot area in my house :0)
